मजदूर (Labour)

मजदूर हूँ साहब, मजबूर भी
दिल बड़ा और होंसला मजबूत भी!

घर बनाते है हम, पर घर नहीं
राह सजाते है पर, रहगुजर नहीं!

ख्वाहिशे रखते कम, नहीं मांगते भीख
मेहनत पे हमें भरोसा, यही देते सीख!

सो जाते है सड़को पर, नहीं मारते पत्थर
जो भी जीवन दिया प्रभु ने, जीते हम डटकर!

बस घर जाना चाहते है, यही छोटी सी आशा
मजदूरों को मजबूरी समझा, कैसी ये अभिलाषा!



I am a laborer, Hopeless too
Big heart and strong spirits too!

We build houses, but not houses
we decorate the road, but can't pass!

Keep wishing less, we dont ask begging
Trust us in hard work, This is how you learn!

They sleep on the roads, do not kill stones
Whatever life the Lord gave, let us win!

Just want to go home, this little hope
Workers deemed helpless, what kind of desire!
